TOFEN 1MG Tablets contain Ketotifen, an antihistamine and mast cell stabilizer used for the prophylactic treatment of bronchial asthma and symptomatic relief of allergic conditions such as rhinitis and conjunctivitis. It helps reduce the frequency, severity, and duration of asthma attacks and alleviates symptoms like itching, pain, and tenderness associated with allergies.

Dosage/Directions:
Take TOFEN 1MG Tablets as prescribed by your doctor, typically 1 mg twice daily with food. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 2 mg twice daily. For patients prone to sedation, start with 0.5 to 1 mg at night for the first few days. Do not stop taking this medication without consulting your healthcare provider.

Side Effects:
Common side effects include drowsiness, dry mouth, and slight dizziness, which usually subside after a few days. Serious side effects may include a reversible fall in platelet count, especially when taken with oral antidiabetic agents. Contact your doctor if you experience any severe or persistent side effects.
