Azarga Eye Drops are prescribed for adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension when monotherapy (treatment with a single medication) is insufficient. The drops work by reducing the production of aqueous humor (the fluid in the eye) through different mechanisms: brinzolamide inhibits carbonic anhydrase, while timolol is a beta-blocker.
