Cerazette is a progestogen-only oral contraceptive pill (POP) containing 75 micrograms of desogestrel, designed to prevent pregnancy without the use of estrogen. It works primarily by inhibiting ovulation, thickening cervical mucus, and altering the endometrial lining to reduce the chance of fertilization. Unlike traditional combined pills, Cerazette can be used by women who are breastfeeding, have estrogen intolerance, or are at risk of estrogen-related complications.

This pack of 84 tablets provides 12 weeks of continuous daily contraception when taken regularly at the same time each day—without a break between packs.
